Epic: Armageddon - 4th edition
The current version of the game. Brought up to date by combining the best elements of the 2nd and 3rd editions. It's let down by the fact that its missing official lists for several races and that, with the exception of the rulebook, the army lists are Online Only. The rulebook itself is available in full colour from the GW Online store, or as a set of black and white PDFs from the GW website. The PDF version omits the hobby articles that the printed version has.
At the time of publishing this, it does seem that this will be the final version of Epic in any form. Its rules set is unfinished and many miniatures remain unreleased. There are only miniatures for Imperial Guard, Space Marines, Orks and Eldar. With a few variant lists for Feral Orks and Imperial Guard Siegemasters as well as a Chaos plastic troop sprue.
